LIl Boosie facing Murder, possibly Death penalty

Breaking News: Lil Boosie is under investigation for a possible connection with 6 murders. More on this as it developes

From Billboard.com:
Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie (real name Torrance Hatch) is no stranger to trouble with the law. Already incarcerated for probation violation on drug and gun charges, the Trill Entertainment rapper and two associates (one of them only 17 years old) were indicted on first-degree murder charges by a grand jury on Thursday, June 17.

The men are accused of being involved in the shooting of 35-year-old Terry Boyd in his own house in October. District attorney Hiler Moore stated that the killing seemed to be "over turf" and that if Lil Boosie is convicted the death penalty is not out of the question. The same day, Hatch was also indicted on multiple drug and conspiracy charges for smuggling large amounts of codeine, ecstasy and marijuana into prison with intent to distribute. His girlfriend, a prison guard and a fellow inmate were also charged as co-conspirators. In addition to these charges, prosecutors believe the 27-year-old rapper may have been involved in at least five other slayings.

"I'm innocent," said the rapper when asked if he has anything to say to his fans. However, his lyrics indicate otherwise. The track "I Know" carries violent and aggressive messages, such as, "So put yo fist up in yo pockets and them bullets in the chamber" and "I'm itchin to kill, gimme a reason I will. I'll end up grippin a steal." Boosie was in the midst of releasing his last album, "Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz," during his last set of legal troubles, but a follow-up may be a long time in coming.

From Allhiphop.com:
17 year old Baton Rouge, LA teenager Michael Louding has been charged with murdering regional rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson and 5 other men in a string of killings dating back to February 2009.

The murder indictment was announced yesterday (June 4) by Louisiana’s East Baton Rouge Parish, and the teen faces 5 counts of 1st degree murder, 1 count of 2nd degree murder, and 2 counts of attempted 1st degree murder.

Last year, Dope Family Family rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson died following a gunshot wound to the head on February 9. He was 33 years old.

Trill Entertainment rapper Lil Boosie was named as a primary suspect, with FBI agent Anthony Jung stating his bureau received information that Boosie initiated the slaying by placing a $30,000 hit on Jackson. Before his death, the two had been feuding on wax with Boosie recording the diss song “What Goes Up Must Come Down.’

Boosie was never charged, and is currently in the second of a 4 year sentence for drug possession.

Trill Entertainment CEO’s Melvin Vernell Jr. and Marcus Roach were cleared of the 2005 attempted murder of another local rapper, Bruce “Beelow” Moore, in March. Moore was shot twice in the face outside of his store-front business, in a crime prosecutors claimed was over Moore’s bootlegging of Louisiana artists. The case was dismissed due to the prosecution taking more than 2 years to try the men.

In addition to the February 2009 Nussie murder, Michael Louding faces charges for killing Marcus Thomas (April 2009), Terry Boyd (October 2009), Charles Matthews, and Darryl Milton. The latter two are the most recent crimes, with both being murdered on April 1, 2010 while sitting in a parked car.

3 other teenagers from Baton Rouge ranging in age from 16 to 19 will also face 1st degree murder counts in the Milton and Matthews’ slayings.

On Monday (June 7), both state and federal officials are expected to be present at a news conference revealing more details about the case.

At press time, it is unknown whether Michael Louding and his accomplices acted alone, or were part of a larger criminal conspiracy.

"Recovery" for a sales decline that "Can't be Tamed"

In June of 1999 that evil monster known as Napster hatched from the brain of Shawn Fanning. Once the beast was unleashed there was no stopping it. It had kids (Kazaa, Limewire, etc.) and wreaked havoc on the Music Industry with its file sharing technology! It’s no secret that the music industry suffered a mortal wound when the file sharing monster struck about 10 years ago, but still the entertainment giant that is Music would not lay down and die! Once the shock of the surprise attack wore off, the industry fought back. They sued individuals, got Napster shut down, and even tried to capitalize on the war by going “digital.” Still, the industry has suffered a steady decade long decline in sales, and these days, even digital sales are down, and they haven’t even been going on for 10 years… Yes it’s a mess, but there is still hope!

America’s Music Industry saviors come as a very odd couple: Miley Cyrus and Eminem. Oh you don’t believe me, well check this out…

Eminem released his 7th studio album, Recovery, yesterday, and Miss Cyrus is releasing her latest album, Can’t be Tamed, today. Think about it. Who buys albums? Music enthusiasts, teenage white kids, and the parents of spoiled tweens. Who are Miley’s fans? Tweens and teens. What about Eminem? White teenagers and hip hop heads. It’s a win win for the industry. I proverbial one two punch! I wonder if they planed it?

Here’s a little more in depth discussion on Em's impact on the industry.

And here’s a snap shot of their album covers (talk about juxtaposition):

M.I.A. is off the chain

I realize this ain't really "new" news, but somehow the posts havent been getting posted, I wrote this back in April, but here it is check it out...

Well actually she was Born Free as suggested by her newest song. Not only is she Free, but in this writer’s opinion, she is also about to ruffle lots of feathers. Take a look at the Michael Jackson (RIP to the King) style extended video for the song.

There are definitely some graphic images in this politically charged, and highly artistic endeavor.

Have a look for yourself…

What do you think the message is?

I don't care, so why should you?

Ok so Miley Cyrus is a slut.... So fuckin what?

Video of little Miss Cyrus’ latest antics…

What female teen pop idol isn't? I mean I'm not saying that she is a promiscuous young lady (although I wouldn't be surprised if she was),
but she has a slutty persona. My question is, Why the hell do we care? Cuz she started on the Disney Channel? Cuz she's Billy Ray's daughter? Cuz White America doesn't want their little darlings to idolize a slut? I don't know you tell me! But since I posed those three questions, I'll go ahead and answer them for you...

She's on the Disney Channel:
No real discussion needed here. Disney has a knack for cultivating sluts. Let us not forget that Britney Spears started out as a Mouseketeer, as was Christina Aguilera (who has the most talent of these three and coincidentally had an album come out last week, Bionic) Oh yeah and Vanessa Hudgens' nudity graced your internet screens as well (perverts). So Miley is just one in a line of Disney Channel sluts!

Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter:
Again I think nothing needs to be said about this one either. I mean Billy posed with his pride and joy in a non-G rated photo shoot...

Beyond that you’d be a fool to think Mr. Cyrus was a saint! You don’t think Achy Breaky Heart got him some pussy? Get REAL! Side note: Do you think she came up with this on her own?

White America:
Let’s be clear, White America LOVES THEIR SLUTS!!! They just don’t want to claim them. That’s why there was such an uproar with Britney Spears when she went “bad,” and not when Christina did the same. What am I saying? It’s all in the name! Brittany is the quintessential “blonde haired, blue eyed” white girl! But wait, so is Christina, right? WRONG!! Christina’s last name is not one generally associated with the Caucasoid rulers of the US. Therefore her sluttiness could be basically embraced. No one said a word when Rihanna went from “Sunshine music” to Rated R. The reason is, she’s not white. The media is ok with slutty black and brown women, no matter their age, but they will fight to the death to keep their little white lasses as pure as the driven snow.

The bottom line is this: Sluts make bucks! The End.
